I trained as a designer and maker at the internationally renowned Waters & Acland furniture school in the Lake District. Since then, I have set up my own workshop in Levenshulme and split my time working on commissions there and collaborating with other makers.
Everything I make is designed and crafted in Manchester using British timbers sourced from sustainably managed woods. I love strong geometry, the ancient middle east, hand-worked textures and simple, beautiful design. My practice is focussed on creating functional pieces that celebrate the unique beauty of British wood, and clear evidence of handwork through joinery, texture and shaping.
